MIDLAND, TX, Oct 7, 2025 – EnviroKlean, a leading specialty chemical and water treatment technology provider, announced today that it has broken ground on a plant expansion for its chemical manufacturing facility in Midland, TX. The expansion increases production capacity for the company’s core EK One™ carbon-based chemistry line by 50%, a necessary interim step to meet the accelerating demand for its innovative produced water treatment solutions.
The plant expansion and additional facility upgrades extend beyond core chemistry production; they also include increased manufacturing and blending capacity for multiple secondary chemistries, as well as the construction of new off-loading facilities to enable bulk chemical tanker distribution, allowing EnviroKlean to expand its logistics capabilities beyond the traditional tote model currently in place.
“As our partnership revenue accelerates, we need to enable ISO tanker and bulk tanker fillups to more efficiently distribute our chemistry,” said John Williams, President of EnviroKlean. “Now, with our logistical upgrades, we have eliminated production bottlenecks and will be able to deliver our highest volume carbon-array chemistries via tanker offload to improve logistics for our partners.”
The decision to expand immediately was driven by a combination of strong organic growth and increasing demand from EnviroKlean’s strategic partnerships with Guide Water Solutions, a division of Guide Energy Solutions, and WT Oil and Gas (formerly WaterTectonics). This expansion ensures the company maintains supply chain reliability for partners while it prepares for a larger expansion project slated for the coming year.
“We have recently completed plans for an entirely new plant addition that expands EK One capacity by 300%, but we have made commitments to our partners and recently signed new customers that require flexible capacity planning in the short term,” said Robert Rolfe, CEO of EnviroKlean. “We will complete this initial expansion project in Q1 2026, which allows us to meet all current commitments and maintain flexibility to break ground on our larger expansion on our time table later in 2026.”
